Bio With the influences of Radiohead, Draco Rosa, Beck, Deftones and many others, Xavo started his first band called Sentido Común at age 13. Feeling that this was what he wanted to do in life he soon after began the punk group Leftover. By age 17 his new heroes were Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and many from the 60's musical revolulution. By then, Xavo had formed the band Los Maravillosos La La which gave way to the band that helped change the rock music scene in Puerto Rico, Los Convertibles. Xavo traveled to Los Angeles and recorded at Phantom Vox studios. Later, Los Convertibles was transformed into Indigo which is Xavo's heart and soul live project. Education: History Mr. Mulet (Keyboards, Guitar, Backing Vocals) Born: 1982 in Broward County, Florida. Raised by his grandparents in Yauco, Puerto Rico. Son of famed international recording and performing artist Teddy Mulet, Mr. Mulet has been playing classical piano and clarinet since age five. He was later part of the school band where he played clarinet, base, and percussion. Hes the musical director of the Punk musical group D-Cent Jerks. In 2010 he had a brief participation as a member of Los Convertibles. Education: Bachelors Degree in Musical Education PJ (Base, Backing Vocals) Born: 1982 in Moca, Puerto Rico. Music became a very important part of PJs life around the High School years. At the age of 16 he was part of a Metal band and in the year 2006 was part of the musical projects named For the wounded mathematical core - Lucys Transmission - A lo fugasi @ the Drive in pero con Taps. These experiences gave way for PJ to be one of the founding members of the band formerly known as Los Convertibles. Education: Bachelors Degree in Musical Education DiMatiaz (Drums, Backing Vocals) Born: 1988 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. DiMatiaz comes from a music family, which is where his musical education has mainly come from. He has studied popular music and from childhood played in many different groups developing a strong percussion background. Hes currently part of a few musical projects such as La Filosofia de Don Venacio (Ska Punk) La Batucada Tropicada Tropical Steel Band Parranda Los Compadres Skante (Ska). DiMatiaz is also a DJ, Producer and is a member of the famed dj group Jungle Boys. He was also member of the band formerly known as Los Convertibles.
